Opening Ceremony

The Field of Heroes will officially open at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26th, 2012.

In addition to remarks from state and local representatives, music will be provided by local choirs and bands.

Other events during the weekend are:

Monday 1:00 p.m. - Flag Pickup

Monday 5:00 p.m. - Field Closes

Program

Appropriately-themed programs are presented at the Field of Heroes to pay tribute, entertain, inform and set the tone of the event. The opening ceremony is the main program, and a Sunday interfaith service is held in the shadow of the flag field. Entertainment and educational programs are run throughout the weekend.
